The partners at Frettens are pleased to announce that Kate Fretten has been promoted to partner with effect from 1 July 2009. Kate joined Frettens in February 2007 to set-up and head the Employment Team which has quickly established itself as one of the regions leading departments.
Kate is the third 'Fretten' to join the partnership of the six partner firm which boasts a full range of legal services to business' and the individual.
Frettens’ Senior Partner, Ian Fretten, says "Kate’s promotion is recognition of what she has achieved over the last two and half years and of what she contributes to the partnership as a whole."

Kate specialises in both contentious and non-contentious employment issues. Taking a pragmatic and commercial approach, she has a particular interest in non-contentious matters, including restrictive covenants, confidentiality issues, senior executive recruitment and severance. Kate advises on all aspects of employment law and provides day to day HR advice to businesses of all sizes and also has a particular specialism in the Care Sector.
