David works as a part-time Consultant with our Commercial Property and Residential Conveyancing Teams. Over 20 years of working for local authorities, has enabled David to build vast experience and expertise in planning and environmental law. He deals with the conflicts and issues arising between clients who want to utilise land for commercial or residential purposes and local planning authorities who aim to protect and maintain the existing natural and built environment. With protecting the environment an increasing concern, David helps clients to understand their environmental liabilities and to stay on the right side of the law.
Play
David is a keen runner and is a member of the New Forest Runners Club based in New Milton. He watches football, rugby and cricket too. David has been a keen Manchester City supporter since primary school. He enjoys listening to music, both recorded and live. David is trying to play the guitar. Unfortunately his attempts to emulate the guitar greats have stalled at the barre!
