Oonagh McKinney
Oonagh is an experienced solicitor and Head of Frettens’ commercial property team. She works closely alongside all of the other commercial teams to make Frettens a first choice for business clients. Both Oonagh and her team are recommended in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 Legal 500, the independent guide to law firms in the UK.
Work
Oonagh joined the firm as a partner in 2007 becoming Head of the firm’s Commercial Property team.
She is an experienced commercial property specialist and handles property transactions for a variety of commercial clients, including developers, banks, hotels and leisure operators, commercial landlords and tenants, care homes and retail clients.
A large part of the team’s commercial property work comprises landlord and tenant work, ranging from our longstanding relationship with Premier League Football Club AFC Bournemouth to commercial businesses taking industrial and office space.
Oonagh is also recognised as a specialist in social housing work acting for providers of Social Housing on a range of transactions from short term arrangements to multi million pound portfolios all over the UK.
