Cheryl is a Conveyancing Executive and has received a vast amount of fantastic feedback since she joined the firm in September 2020. She talks in plain English rather than ‘legal speak’ as she thinks this can be intimidating and off putting for clients, especially first-time buyers.
Work
Cheryl Phimister is originally from Yorkshire but “migrated” to the South in 1995 where she started work as a Paralegal in a local firm dealing solely with remortgages. She then progressed to mainstream sales and purchases but specialised in shared ownership transactions.
In 2012 she moved to the New Forest and worked for several local law firms as a Senior Conveyancer. In September 2020 Cheryl joined Frettens and deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing including leasehold, freehold, unregistered, shared ownership and transfer of equity cases assisted by Paralegal, Tahnee Turtle.

In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys walking in the forest with her husband, skiing and camping, she is also a keen runner and has completed numerous marathons including the New Forest Marathon. She is also an avid fan of MotoGP!
