Frettens' Employment Team have recruited Paul Burton who joins the Team on 5th January from Clarke Willmott Solicitors in Southampton. Paul will replace Jennifer Maddocks, who will be leaving Frettens on Friday 9th January 2009 to pursue a career with the Army Legal Service. Kate Fretten will continue as Head of the Employment Team following Jenny’s departure.
Jenny says “I have enjoyed working for Frettens but have decided on a complete career change for personal reasons. I will be very sad to leave the firm and wish Kate and Paul every success for the future”. Everyone at Frettens wishes Jenny lots of luck in her new role as Captain Maddocks!
Experienced Employment Law Specialist Joins the Team
An experienced employment lawyer, Paul has specialised in all aspects of employment law for a number of years, acting for both employers and employees. His expertise includes all issues relating to unfair dismissal, TUPE, redundancies, contracts, policies, discrimination and harassment claims. Paul can also undertake all forms of employment tribunal and Court related matters.
