Employment Events go from strength to strength

Employment law experts Kate Fretten and Paul Burton have recently held another successful HR forum, this time concentrating on the issues surrounding redundancy selection during the recession.

Kate Fretten says "The huge turnout at the event demonstrates the economic pressures businesses are under with many companies considering reorganisations. We were thrilled to see some of the region’s largest companies attending and were very pleased with the feedback they gave."

In addition to the quarterly forums, this year’s seminar will take the form of a mock employment tribunal and will be held at the historical Regent Centre in Christchurch. The seminar will be presented by Kate and Paul , who will be joined by Evan Turnill and Tim Dracass, barristers and employment specialists from 18 Carlton Crescent in Southampton.

The audience will have the opportunity to experience an unfair dismissal hearing from start to finish, and even have the chance to vote on the outcome!

This promises to be a very exciting event and we are expecting a large turnout.
