Frettens Act for "New-Old" Developers

Commercial Property specialists at Frettens Solicitors have been busy working with several of the area’s leading property developers completing a number of high value property transactions. Most recently, Clare Hallett, a Commercial Property Solicitor at Frettens, acted on behalf of Blandford Forum based builders and developers Michael Parker Homes Ltd in a joint venture with another party on the acquisition of a site for redevelopment in White Hayes Road in Burton, near Christchurch. The plot is intended for a residential development of 6 detached homes which will embrace modern living while holding the values of traditional master craftsmen.

Michael Parker Homes believe that new build homes can be as beautiful as traditional ones and have extensive expertise in using Dorset's traditional techniques. They build new houses, using traditional materials: reclaimed bricks and tiles, stone, flint, beams and thatch. Michael Parker Homes are specialists in the design and construction of country cottages. Their properties blend perfectly into the local landscape and they pride themselves in allowing buyers to have an input in creating their dream home.

Clare Hallett has advised Michael Parker Homes on a series of commercial transactions in the past two years. Michael Parker commented "Clare is a ‘developer’s solicitor’ – she and the team at Frettens know how to draft documents to make the most of every opportunity and we find them to be efficient, proactive and affable, no matter how tight the deadlines or how complex the deal."
