Frettens Solicitors were delighted to take part in the Christchurch Food & Wine Festival this weekend as one of the main sponsors.
At the International Food Market on 8th & 9th May, Christchurch High Street was filled with over 100 stalls selling a wide range of food and drink. Frettens' stall will had a unique smoothie bike where pedal power was used to blend strawberries and bananas into a delicious smoothie! Nearly £300 was raised from the smoothie bike and 100% of proceeds from the smoothie bike will be donated to our charity of the year Julia's House.
Our staff have also busy writing down their favourite family recipes - we gave out over 9,000 recipe cards over the weekend! If you missed out, the cards are available to download here.
Having been based in Christchurch for over 30 years, Frettens were delighted to be involved with the Festival. Commercial Partner, Matthew Fretten, says "We welcomed the opportunity to be more involved with our local community in learning about different foods and healthy eating. We also relished the opportunity to work with the area’s best food establishments in promoting the excellence that exists in Christchurch. The weekend itself was great fun and it was fantastic to see so many of our staff braving the cold weather to work together in promoting the firm."
