The Partners at Frettens Solicitors are delighted to announce the firm’s latest development: the acquisition of the
New Milton firm of Walker Fradd & Hardy. The office will initially be known as Frettens Solicitors incorporating Walker Fradd & Hardy and is located in New Milton’s town centre. Its position provides excellent opportunities for raising the firm's profile and promoting the full range of services offered by the firm to the
New Forest area. The move demonstrates the firm’s progressive outlook and its strategy of controlled expansion.

Senior Conveyancing Associate,
David Walton, will be based in New Milton with a secretary to focus on developing primarily residential conveyancing instructions from the
New Forest. David will offer a first class traditional
conveyancing service with agents and clients dealing directly with him. In due course, as the workload expands, other staff will be based full time in New Milton. It is the firms’ intention to use the office as a “satellite” to attract new
wills,
probate,
trust,
tax,
divorce and
business clients for whom the New Milton office will be more convenient than the existing
Christchurch office. Staff from the specialist departments based in
Christchurch will meet clients in New Milton by appointment.
Senior Partner,
Ian Fretten, will take over from David as the Head of the
Conveyancing Department based in
Christchurch. On behalf of the partnership, he comments “We expect this to be a great prospect for the firm and it marks a continuation of the significant developments that we have undertaken in recent years. 2008 marks the firm's 30th year of trading in
Christchurch, which is very exciting in itself and the satellite office will allow us to continue our growth.”
