Frettens Solicitors sponsor Jigsaw charity concert

Snap up a tasty offer by buying ‘Early Bird’ tickets for one of this summer’s hottest outdoor events at a heavily discounted rate. That’s the message from the Jigsaw Appeal which, for the second year running, is staging a charity open-air opera concert at Chewton Glen.

‘Music for a Summer’s Evening’ is being held in the grounds of the luxury hotel on Bank Holiday Monday, August 25. The concert, featuring the Candlelight Opera, will include operas from Verdi, Mozart, Bizet, Puccini and Donizetti. Famous works to be performed include excerpts from The Marriage of Figaro, Carmen, La Boheme, Don Carlos and The Tales of Hoffman. The event, compered by David Gillard, Opera Critic of the Daily Mail, is sponsored by chartered accountants and business advisers Princecroft Willis (PcW) and law firm Frettens Solicitors.

All proceeds from the evening will go to the Jigsaw Cancer and Blood Disorders Appeal at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. The aim of the appeal is to construct a new cancer facility at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital in preference to refurbishing and extending the current unit. The appeal has a target of £2 million with £900,000 raised to date. Concert-goers are being encouraged to bring a picnic or book a picnic basket, champagne tea or post concert dinner at Chewton Glen, with proceeds being donated to The Jigsaw Appeal.

‘Early Bird’ tickets for the concert are now available until the end of June for £35. The price increases to £50 from July 1 to August 24 with tickets on the day available for £60. For tickets, please contact the Jigsaw Office on 01202 704060 or visit the charity’s website at www.jigsawappeal.org.uk.
