Frettens Solicitors, based in Christchurch, have successfully completed a partial management buy out of Rod Darch Associates Limited to a syndicate of existing consultants. Matthew Fretten, a Partner and Head of Frettens’ Commercial Team, led the transaction.
Rod Darch Associates, based in Bournemouth, is a partnership of high calibre business professionals who apply their experience and skills to assist SMEs, mainly in the South of England. The Consultancy specialises in general management, business planning, quality, environmental and health and safety management systems across a wide range of business sectors.
The company was formed in 1993 by Rod Darch, who has over 20 years senior management experience within both large and small companies. The Company now employs six staff.
This partial management buyout retains the existing management of the company and puts in place the legal framework for the business to go forward. Rod Darch remains at the helm as Managing Director for the short term future of the company and is pleased with the way in which the transaction was handled.
