Team Frettens Relay for Children's Charity

Frettens Solicitors are organising a relay between their three offices in Christchurch and the New Forest on Friday 6th July to raise money for The Cicely Foundation, a children’s charity based in Christchurch.

The relay starts from the firm’s Brockenhurst office, via their New Milton office and finishing at the main Christchurch office. The relay team is made up entirely of Frettens staff, each taking part with a different challenge, from cycling, to scootering, running and passing a netball to skipping.

The final leg will be completed by Matthew Fretten, Commercial Partner, in a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang replica car, which will be driven through Christchurch High Street to the firm’s office. The team are challenged to complete the course, which is exactly half the distance of a marathon, in less than two hours.

The Cicely Foundation exists for deprived, vulnerable and needy children in the UK and the rest of the world, to help overcome their difficulties. The main focus of the Foundation involves supporting work linked to education, health and well-being.

Matthew Fretten, Commercial Partner, says “We are delighted to support such a brilliant charity and hoping to raise over £1,000. It is also superb to see so many of our team willing to take part – some challenging themselves and some being quite silly! I am particularly looking forward to seeing two of my colleagues complete a three-legged race in New Milton High Street!”

Laura MartinMarketing Manager, says "To support Frettens in their relay challenge, please visit www.justgiving.com/Frettens-Relay or text Fret99 followed by the amount you wish to sponsor to 70070."
