At Frettens, each member of staff has been given the opportunity to take an extra day’s annual leave to fund raise for our charity of the year, the Willow Foundation.
The Frettens "Give a Day" Campaign
Frettens have created a "Give a Day" Campaign enabling any member of staff that wants to participate, to take one additional day of paid annual leave. The day must be spent raising funds for the Willow Foundation - either generating money or to being sponsored for something. The Partners have challenged the whole of the team to raise the equivalent of one day of their own wages - if not more!
Team Frettens have put on their thinking caps and a multitude of activities are planned! From sponsored walks, bike rides and diets, to car washes and cake sales, all to raise vital funds for this worthy cause.
Conveyancing Executive Kaitlin Stone and Family Solicitor Heidi Cardoza have already done a 13 mile sponsored dog walk accompanied by Dan their one eyed, four legged friend in the New Forest.

Accounts Manager Richard Barnard, Dispute Resolution Solicitor Carl Geary & Employment Solicitor Paul Burton are doing a gruelling 75 mile cycle this week through the New Forest.
Four members of Team Frettens are creating a car wash in Christchurch! Laura Balmer, Helen Jones, Malky Chaloner and Charlene Rimmer will be in Waitrose car park (Christchurch) in October washing cars! You can sponsor the car washers on their Just Giving page - or turn up to have your own car washed for a very reasonable £5!
Christine Chant, from our Marketing Team, has set up "Crispy Cabs" and is providing a taxi service for friends and colleagues. Anna Dube, our Client Enquiries Adviser, is putting her baking skills to the challenge - raising money by baking cup cakes and selling them at her University. Sarah Baron from our Family Team and Julie Frampton from our Wills & Tax Team are engaged in a weight loss challenge!
Coming soon - Matthew Fretten v Michelle Hayter - two of our partners square up to take on clients and friends playing squash for a whole day!
To make a donation to any of our staff, please click on the links from their names to take you to their Just Giving pages. We will keep you updated with how they get on and with other events the staff have lined up.
Please help us to reach our targets for this great cause and give somebody very ill and their family a day to remember and treasure.

The Willow Foundation was founded in 1999 by Bob Wilson (former Arsenal goalkeeper and TV presenter) and his wife Megs as a lasting memorial to their daughter Anna who died aged 31, after a five year battle with cancer. During these years Anna, her family and friends, experienced some of their most memorable moments and quality times - treats, days out and concert trips. The charity aims to replicate the positive impact that those days had on Anna and her family and to provide special days to other seriously ill 16 - 40 year olds throughout the UK. It is the only UK charity to provide positive and life-enhancing special days for those who are seriously ill within that age range.
Willow strives to create a unique and unforgettable day that is tailored to the needs and dreams of every beneficiary. He or she chooses exactly what they would like to do on their special day and Willow aims to meet and, wherever possible, exceed their expectations, making the day truly special and memorable.
