Business Come Dancing 2018

Frettens were proud to take part in the Business Come Dancing annual fundraiser for Pavilion Dance South West, who teamed up with Bournemouth Hospital Charity to raise money for a mini MRI scanner.

The black tie event was held at The Cumberland Hotel on Friday 23rd November, with a fizzy reception and two course dinner, followed by 10 performances from local businesses, all competing to win the title ‘Business Come Dancing Champion 2018’.

All contestants were paired with a professional dance teacher and were given ten lessons to learn their dance. Frettens were the only firm to dance in a group and as 2018 marks the firm’s 40th anniversary we put on our flares, afro hair dos and platform boots and danced DISCO!

Although Frettens came 4th out of 10, you can see that the team really enjoyed themselves, raising over £1500 in the process. First place on the night went to Daniel Snoxell of Ward Goodman, who performed an amazing Irish Dance,

Oonagh McKinney, Head of our Commercial Property Team, said “We really love supporting local charities and what better way than to dance the night away and have some fun. The night was a great success and I really enjoyed dressing up in Disco and learning a few new dance moves too. We as a firm raised £1,590 which is fantastic and I thank everyone who donated.”

If you didn’t get round to donating, but would still like to, please donate here.
