ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) is warning employers of companies claiming to be part of and/or acting on behalf of ACAS.

Chris Dobbs our Employment solicitor, says “They typically offer initial advice, which they don’t charge for, but then ask people to sign up to a long-term, often expensive contract for employment and/or health and safety advice.”

If you have signed up to such a contract then please contact us for advice or, if in any doubt, contact ACAS or the Office of Fair Trading. More information from ACAS here.

For a free initial chat, please call 01202 499255 and our Employment team will be happy to discuss any questions that you may have.
