Was the contract specifically negotiated between the insolvent company and this supplier?
This question is asking for a detailed written contract, prepared by a lawyer (or perhaps a contracts department of a large organisation). It may be an agency agreement, or a supply agreement, or a distributorship. Somewhere on it – probably the last page – there will be a couple of dotted lines with signatures. Does the supplier have one of those?
