Katelyn Webster
Katelyn is a Solicitor in our Family team in Christchurch.
Katelyn graduated from Bournemouth University in 2022 with an LLB (Hons) degree and joined Frettens shortly afterwards as a Legal Assistant in the Family Team. Katelyn later secured a place on the firm's Graduate Scheme as part of its first cohort of graduates and commenced her Training Contract in September 2023 via the SQE route to qualification.
During her Training Contract, Katelyn gained experience across several departments, including Family, Wills & Tax and Conveyancing, before returning to the Family team for her final seat. This broad experience has provided her with a well-rounded understanding of the legal and practical issues that frequently arise alongside family law matters.
Katelyn qualified as a Solicitor in August 2025 and now advises clients on a wide range of family law matters. She appreciates that family disputes can be both emotionally and financially challenging and is committed to providing clear, practical, and compassionate advice to help clients navigate difficult circumstances and achieve the best possible outcome for themselves and their families.
Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys exploring new places, discovering independent restaurants and cafés, and spending quality time with friends, family and her two cats. When she gets the chance to unwind, you'll often find her relaxing with a good book or television series.
