News - New TUPE implementation date

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has announced that the new TUPE regulations (Collective Redundancies and Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (Amendment) Regulations 2013) will definitely come into force on 31st January 2014.

They have also said that the extension of the right to request flexible working to all employees with 26 weeks’ service, not just carers and those with children, will come into force on 6th April 2014.
