For the third year running, Frettens proudly sponsored MYTIME Young Carers’ Annual Ball, helping to raise a record amount for a fantastic cause.
The event brought together the charity’s dedicated partners, volunteers and sponsors for a memorable evening at the Hilton Hotel and was a sell out with over 200 in attendance.
Raffles, pledges and an auction (expertly hosted by Dave Fitzgerald) ended up raising over £47,000 to go towards MYTIME’s Operation Christmas.

Generosity, Partnership and Unwavering Commitment
MYTIME’s Head of Fundraising, Tim Sills:
“The MYTIME Team gives enormous thanks to everyone who attended, dressed the part, and dug deep for young carers to have better tomorrows.
We owe our deepest gratitude especially to Frettens Solicitors, our exceptional sponsor. Their generosity, partnership and unwavering commitment to levelling the playing field for young carers played a crucial role in the success of the evening. We are deeply thankful for their continued support.
To everyone who supported us and gave so generously: thank you for making an impact.
What a night. What a community. What a phenomenal achievement.”
Frettens’ and MYTIME’s ongoing partnership
Lewis Barr (Partner, Head of Marketing and Commercial) on Frettens’ ongoing partnership with MTIME.
“When we first spoke with Tim Sills and Callie Johnson about this event three years ago, I’m not sure any of us thought it would be as successful as it has been.
After its third iteration, with a 1920s theme (everyone made such an effort), it certainly now feels like a fixture in the calendar.
It has been so great to see MYTIME's community of corporate partners growing and coming together over that period. It was amazing to catch up with so many of you over one or two drinks.
It's also another opportunity to reflect on just how far MYTIME have come, hearing from CEO Krista Cartlidge and local MP Tom Hayes MP about how much they have achieved in the past 12 months. What a year!
A huge well done to everyone involved, including our very own Jenny Williams, who works so closely with the MYTIME team to put on a great event.”
How you can get involved
MYTIME is dedicated to transforming the lives of young carers by offering support through programs like Making Memories, alongside enhancing career prospects and improving access to resources in schools.
You can play a vital role in supporting these programs by donating or launching your own fundraising campaign. Every contribution helps to ensure that young carers receive the care and opportunities they deserve.
