Employment Law Update - Employment Rights Bill

Join our Employment & HR Teams as they provide you with an update on the Employment Rights Bill.

The Employment Rights Bill is in its final stages of parliamentary debate before likely receiving Royal Assent later this year. Since our last update, there have been some key changes to some of its provisions and the Government has released a proposed roadmap for implementation of the key elements over the next two years.

In our September seminar, Michelle Kemp, Kate Fretten and Chris Dobbs will be providing an update on the current position of the Bill including:

  • The latest changes to unfair dismissal rights
  • Sexual Harassment: Reasonable steps becomes all reasonable steps
  • New rules for flexible working requests and zero-hours/casual work patterns
  • Risks and rights in collective consultation
  • The rights of trade unions in your workplace
  • What happened to “single worker status”?
  • The roadmap to implementation

With implementation of some of these provisions expected as early as Spring 2026, now is the time to start thinking about the effect on your workplace and what steps you might need to take to prepare your business and your workforce.
