Michelle Petersen is a Partner and Head of Frettens' highly regarded Residential Property team.
With extensive experience across all aspects of residential conveyancing, Michelle advises clients on property sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, equity release matters, matrimonial conveyancing and complex property issues, including adverse possession claims.
Known for her practical and proactive approach, Michelle enjoys finding solutions to challenging situations and is committed to ensuring transactions progress as smoothly and efficiently as possible. She works closely with clients, agents, lenders and other professionals to keep matters moving and achieve the best possible outcomes.
Alongside her residential property expertise, Michelle has significant experience in commercial property matters, including commercial leases, refinancing transactions, property development and leasehold enfranchisement. She also acts for developers on plot sales and regularly advises buyers and sellers involved in new-build transactions.
As Head of Residential Property, Michelle is passionate about delivering exceptional client service and supporting her team in maintaining the high standards for which Frettens is known.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, discovering new places to eat and trips to the cinema, provided the film is not too scary.
When she's not in the office, you'll often find her on the water paddleboarding or kayaking, exploring hidden gems off the beaten track.
Having recently passed her motorcycle test, Michelle also enjoys getting out on her bike and can occasionally be spotted along Poole Quay on bike night.
