Olivia Parkinson
Olivia is an Associate Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Team dealing with all aspects of civil and commercial litigation, with a particular interest in contentious probate disputes.
Work
Olivia joined the firm in March 2021 as a Trainee and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2022 into the Dispute Resolution team. Olivia was promoted to associate in January 2026. She was also recommended in the 2024 Legal 500 for Commercial Litigation.
Olivia has always worked in litigation, having previously worked as a Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Paralegal for a firm in London, until she decided to make the move back to Bournemouth in 2021.
Olivia is also a qualified member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS), working closely with the partner in the department, Michelle Hayter.

Olivia deals with all aspects of civil and commercial litigation with particular expertise in:
- Contentious trust and probate disputes dealing with will validity disputes, executor disputes and Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975 claims

Play
In her spare time, Olivia enjoys paddle boarding and going for walks at the beach or in the New Forest with her French Bulldog Ralph.
At the weekends, Olivia also enjoys going out with friends and family for meals and drinks at local restaurants, with Tapas and Italian being firm favourites. Olivia will also take any opportunity to hop on a plane and travel when she can.
