A new guide for employers on the Recruitment and Retention of Transgender Staff has been published by the Government Equalities Office. This new guide is specifically aimed at employers and has been designed with the aim of supplying practical advice and suggestions on the recruitment and retention of transgender employees and potential employees. It is hoped that the guide will also be useful for managers of transgender staff to ensure that they are responding fully and confidently to specific issues or challenges that transgender staff may face in the workplace.
