Alex is a Support Analyst working in our IT team.

Work

Alex joined Frettens in February 2026 after over 7-years supporting the IT infrastructure across multiple school sites around the BCP and Wiltshire areas.

His prior role involved managing day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and ensuring reliable access to essential systems for staff and students.

Alex's experience in working across diverse environments, delivering responsive support, and helping schools maintain secure, efficient and effective IT services has allowed him to adapt to the working environment and needs of the users across the Frettens workbase in supporting their queries and issues.

Play

Outside of work, Alex thrives on a mix of energy and creativity. When he's not in the kitchen baking up something sweet, you'll probably find him training at the gym, throwing punches in kickboxing, or heading outdoors for a long hike around the Purbecks.

Whilst Alex loves staying active and challenging himself physically, he does balance that intensity with quieter moments too, getting lost in a good book or story-driven game.
