Antoinette Ogungbe

Antoinette is a Trainee Solicitor in our Wills & Tax team based in Christchurch.

Working

Antoinette worked as a Paralegal in the local area since 2021.  She joined Frettens as a Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution team in July 2024. Since September 2025, joined the Insolvency team in our Christchurch office as a Trainee Solicitor. She then moved onto her second seat in the Wills & Tax Team.

Antoinette provides support to Solicitors and other fee earners in the team. Antoinette’s work also has a focus on Debt Recovery, and she assists with recovering low value debts in the Small Claims Court and enforcing judgement debts.

Experience  

• Conducting lease reviews
• Drafting documents such as settlement agreements
• Preparing letter before claims and claim forms
• Conducting legal research
• Preparing bundles for court and counsel

In September 2025, Antoinette started her training contract with the firm. Joining Malcolm Niekirk in our Insolvency team.
