Catharine Snow

Catharine is the firms HR & Operations Director and is responsible for monitoring and improving our organisational processes, working to improve performance, productivity and efficiency.

Work

Catharine joined Frettens in 2014, beginning her career with the firm in a data management role before progressing into the Residential Property team as a Paralegal. Her strong understanding of the business, combined with a passion for people and operational excellence, led her to transition into the role of HR & Operations Manager in 2018. In recognition of her significant contribution to the firm's growth and success, Catharine was appointed HR & Operations Director in July 2025.

In her varied and fast-paced role, Catharine oversees all aspects of HR for Frettens' 120+ strong team across the Christchurch, Ringwood and Wimborne offices. She also has responsibility for the firm's operational functions and facilities management, ensuring that colleagues have the support, resources and environment they need to thrive and deliver exceptional client service.

Having relocated to Christchurch, her husband's childhood hometown, nearly 18 years ago with their young family, Catharine is firmly embedded in the local community. These days, much of her spare time is spent being a chauffeur for her teenagers, although she still finds time to enjoy the finer things in life. Whether it's a night out with friends, discovering a great film, enjoying a delicious meal, or celebrating at a lively party, Catharine makes the most of every opportunity to relax and have fun.
