Hannah Martin

Hannah is a Commercial Property Associate working in our growing Social Housing team. She works with housing association clients and acts for landlords and tenants, buying and selling commercial property.

Work

Hannah is an Associate in the Commercial Property team, advising clients on a broad range of property matters. Her experience includes acquisitions and disposals, development land transactions, secured lending, landlord and tenant matters, and title restructuring projects. Hannah also has experience acting of social housing transactions having been involved in the development of the firm’s Social Housing department. She is known for her practical, commercially focused approached and commitment to delivering efficient solutions for her clients.

Hannah’s expertise has also been recognised by Legal 500, where she was included in the 2025/2026 edition of the independent legal directory.

Experience

• Acting on the simultaneous acquisition of a portfolio of 20 properties suitable for development for a social housing use at a value of c.£7m and selling them onto a real estate investment trust. The properties were then let to a housing association on long term leases.
• Advising on the acquisition of residential properties for use as social housing and the leasing of office premises.
• Assisting clients with a variety of Commercial Property purchases including land purchases.
• Acting on commercial refinancing transactions and advising guarantors by providing independent legal advice.
• Managing title splits, transfers of part and complex Land Registry matters involving both residential and commercial property.

Play

When she's not advising clients, Hannah enjoys reading, crochet, and spending time with family and friends. She is a regular theatre-goer and enjoys caring for her guinea pigs, which provide plenty of entertainment outside of work.
