Jason Grimster
Jason is a Chartered Legal Executive in the Dispute Resolution team working closely with clients to guide them through the complexities of this area of law.
Jason spent 24 years teaching law at various levels at Bournemouth University and Brockenhurst College. He was the department Head of Law at Brockenhurst College for 15 years and was responsible for the management and delivery of law courses across the curriculum. He has developed specialisms and expertise in Criminal Law, Contract Law, Tort and English Legal Systems.
He left teaching in 2015 to put his long experience of law into practice and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2020. He has worked in a variety of roles including clinical negligence and general litigation which included building dispute resolution, consumer claims, property litigation, landlord & tenant and leasehold property.
In Jason's spare time you will often see him walking his two dogs Ruby and Scamp on Wimborne heath where he lives or paddling around on his kayak in Poole Harbour or on The Stour.
He can play electric and acoustic guitar and wishes to be in a rock band one day! Keeping the adrenaline junkie in him alive he drives a race car for fun on track days throughout the year at various circuits including Thruxton, Castle Combe, Silverstone and Bedford Aerodrome.
