John is a Consultant HR Specialist in our Employment & HR team.
Work
John joined Frettens in June 2026 as a Consultant HR Specialist.
A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, he has extensive HR experience across a broad range of human resource management and industrial relations fields, both in the UK and internationally, within the public and private sectors.
Following a successful career in the RAF, John moved into the trade union movement, where he gained over 10 years’ experience within the unionised aviation sector, supporting commercial airline pilots. Negotiating improvements to terms and conditions formed a core part of his role, alongside handling a wide range of complex employee relations and employment law matters.
Drawing on his strong strategic insight and vision, John delivers well-structured and effective solutions to the wide variety of employee relations challenges encountered in the workplace.
