Mannix is a Legal Placement based in our Christchurch office assisting our Employment and Insolvency & Restructuring teams.

Work

Mannix joined Frettens in August 2025 as a Legal Placement after completing two years of his law degree at Bournemouth University. During his Placement year with Frettens, he is assisting both the Employment and Insolvency & Restructuring teams before returning to university to complete his final year of study.

Before starting his placement, Mannix worked as a bartender, where he perfected his cocktail making skills and gained valuable experience in a lively, customer facing role.

Play

Outside of work, Mannix is an avid sportsman, spending much of his time playing American Football for Bournemouth University or training in the gym.
