Frettens partners with Lashings World in support of the Ellis Edwards Foundation.
We were delighted to once again partner with Lashings World for a fantastic evening of rugby, entertainment and fundraising for the Ellis Edwards Foundation.
Following the success of our previous events together, it was wonderful to welcome so many guests for a special England v Wales rugby dinner featuring two of the game’s most celebrated international players, Jamie Roberts and Chris Robshaw.
An evening with rugby legends
The evening kicked off with VIP drinks, giving guests the chance to meet Jamie Roberts and Chris Robshaw before sitting down for dinner.
Later, Jamie and Chris took to the stage to share stories from their time at the highest level of professional rugby. Speaking about their experiences representing Wales and England, they discussed the pressures of the international game, some of the moments that defined their careers and what life was really like behind the scenes.
The evening finished with a lively Q&A, giving guests the opportunity to put their own questions to Jamie and Chris and hear more about their experiences both on and off the pitch.
Supporting the Ellis Edwards Foundation
The evening was a great opportunity to raise funds and awareness for our charity partner, The Ellis Edwards Foundation.
It was fantastic to see so many guests getting involved and supporting the fundraising throughout the evening. Together, we raised vital funds for the foundation, helping to support its important work with children who are dealing with the loss of a parent or sibling.
The evening also gave us a chance to introduce the Ellis Edwards Foundation to our network and raise awareness of the valuable support it provides to children and families.
Celebrating our ongoing partnership with Lashings World
We are proud to continue our partnership with Lashings, which has given us the opportunity to be involved in a number of memorable events over the years.
From the annual cricket lunch at Wimborne Cricket Club to this latest rugby dinner, these events have bought people together while raising valuable funds and awareness for charitable causes.
We look forward to continuing our work with Lashings and building our partnership, while supporting local charities like the Ellis Edwards Foundation.

The Ellis Edwards Foundation supports families who have experienced bereavement, helping to provide support, raise awareness and make sure those affected by loss do not feel alone.
There are a number of ways to get involved, including making a donation, taking part in one of the foundation’s organised challenges, or setting yourself a physical or mental challenge and raising money through sponsorship.
Every contribution helps the foundation continue its work supporting people and families through difficult times.
