Frettens teaming up with Lashings World for an evening of rugby legends and fundraising
We are delighted to be partnering with Lashings World once again for another memorable evening. Following a number of previous events together, we are proud to continue our partnership with a special England v Wales rugby dinner in Bournemouth.
Join us on Thursday 24 September 2026. We will welcome guests for a night of fine dining and entertaining stories from two celebrated international players and fundraising.
Most importantly, the event will support our charity partner, The Ellis Edwards Foundation, raising funds and awareness for their valuable work.
An evening with Jamie Roberts and Chris Robshaw
Rugby fans will have the opportunity to hear from two players who competed at the very highest level of the game.
Former Wales international Jamie Roberts enjoyed a distinguished career representing his country and the British & Irish Lions. Renowned for his powerful performances in midfield, he was part of successful Welsh sides that secured Six Nations titles and Grand Slams.
He will be joined by former England captain Chris Robshaw, who represented his country with distinction and became one of the most respected leaders of his generation. Alongside his international career, Chris enjoyed considerable success with Harlequins, including captaining the club to the Premiership title.
Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner before Jamie and Chris take part in an exclusive live interview. They will share stories from their careers, discuss the pressures and rewards of professional rugby and offer a fascinating insight into representing their countries on the biggest stage.
The interview will be followed by a live question-and-answer session, giving guests the opportunity to put their own questions to both players.
Supporting the Ellis Edwards Foundation
The evening will raise funds and awareness for our charity partner, The Ellis Edwards Foundation.
We are proud to support the foundation and the difference it makes through its work. As part of the evening, guests will also have the opportunity to take part in a special auction, with proceeds helping to raise valuable funds for the foundation.
By attending the dinner and supporting the auction, guests will not only enjoy a memorable evening with two rugby stars but will also be helping an important local cause.
Continuing our partnership with Lashings World
We are proud to regularly partner with Lashings World, including the popular annual cricket lunch at Wimborne Cricket Club, which brings sporting stars and members of the local community together for an unforgettable experience.
This latest event builds on our successful partnership, moving from the cricket pitch to the rugby field for a special evening celebrating one of the sport’s greatest international rivalries: England against Wales.
