Nicola Fisher

Nicola is a Solicitor in our Corporate & Commercial team, providing advice and assistance on a wide range of company transactions and contracts.

Nicola works in our Wimborne office where her hard work and expertise enables her to assist clients up and down the country, in dealings of all sizes.

She is also a Chartered Secretary and is a member of the Chartered Governance Institute.

Work

Having previously worked as the company secretary for an asset manager, Nicola qualified as a Solicitor in 2022. Since then, she has specialised in Corporate & Commercial law, using the knowledge gained from her earlier career.

Nicola has a degree from the University of Edinburgh and a post graduate diploma in law from the University of Law, and is an associate member of The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.

With experience in both transactional and advisory work, including acquisitions and disposals, group reorganisations, MBOs and more, Nicola provides legal assistance to a variety of companies, partnerships and individuals.

 Experience

• Acted for the seller on the sale of an equipment solutions provider for the construction industry to a leading material handling equipment provider in the Midlands, deal worth c.£1.5m.
• Assisted a veterinary group on a reorganisation of its group companies.
• Advised and prepared loan and security documents for a property development financing business.
• Acted for the seller on the acquisition of a hotel business by a regional brewer as part of their estate expansion plans, deal worth c.£3.5m.
• Acted on a group reorganisation and sale of a shared office space provider.
• Advised on the issue of convertible loan notes to facilitate a further round of funding for a company in the property developer funding sector.

Outside of work, Nicola’s daughter ensures there is never a dull moment!

Nicola has a love for horse riding and the arts, especially ballet, theatre and visiting art galleries and, when she is not dreaming about future travel adventures, she can be found catching up with friends over a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine)!
