Frettens Company Star at the Rock Star Awards

  • Posted

Frettens are delighted to announce that they are sponsoring the Rock Star Awards again in 2015. The awards are run by Rock Recruitment to recognise Dorset’s outstanding employees, students and entrepreneurs aged 16-26 and the companies that develop them into the stars of the future.

Frettens are sponsoring the only category in which an organisation, rather than an individual, wins an award.

The Frettens Company Star Award will be presented to a company that is dedicated to hiring, training and promoting from within, with a particular emphasis on our age bracket of 16-26 year olds. These companies offer opportunities and rewards to Dorset's stars of the future. Companies may be nominated for this award by an employee, a Director or by someone from outside the organisation.

Kate Fretten, a partner at our firm, is championing the award and will join the team from Rock Recruitment as a judge for this category. She says “As an Employment Solicitor, my time is spent helping companies to deal with all situations affecting their staff. Locally, there are many companies who value and reward their employees which is admirable and hopefully provides for success in the future for the business. Frettens are delighted to support this award and to recognise those companies that go the extra mile to invest in what is usually their greatest asset - their team of people.”

Click here to nominate your company! Entries are open until 1 March 2015 - and the initial entry form is quick and simple to complete. After entries close, each company entered will be given the opportunity to submit any further details to supplement their entry and short listed finalists will be invited to meet the judges to discuss their organisation and the ways in which they develop young people. There is no cost at any stage to entering.
