Frettens are delighted to announce promotions to two deserving members of staff.
Heidi Cardoza has been promoted to Associate status. Heidi is a solicitor specialising in divorce and family law; she was asked to Head the Family Team from the start of 2014, which she has taken on positively and successfully. As such the Partners are delighted to promote Heidi to an Associate at the firm.
In 2014, Frettens re established the Trainee Solicitor programme which is a great investment in the firm's future and enables qualification for the next generation of solicitors. Frettens has a number of eligible employees who have completed the necessary qualifications to enable them to start a training contract and as such a decision was taken to open a rolling programme for up to two Trainees per year, each of whom must have worked in the firm in a Paralegal or equivalent role, to enable some background knowledge and understanding of the firm and our work.
Our first successful member of staff to be appointed as a Trainee is Amy Leung. Amy joined the Frettens Conveyancing Team in New Milton where she quickly became a valuable member of the team. She will complete her first "seat" of her Training Contract in the Conveyancing Team before moving to other departments to gain experience in other areas prior to her qualification as a Solicitor.
