We are delighted to welcome experienced Chartered Legal Executive Sarah Lightfoot-Webber into our growing Family Team.

Sarah specialises in all aspects of family law, including divorce, finances and children matters. Sarah deals with all types of agreements, including pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitation agreements.

She has a particular interest in matters involving SEN children, and ensuring their needs are considered and met when a family separates. Sarah is also a member of Resolution.

Sarah started working in law thirty years ago as an office junior and worked her way up, finishing her CILEx studies in 2007 and working as a family lawyer since that time.

Matthew Fretten on Sarah’s arrival

Sarah becomes the 17th new face to join the team at Frettens this year, after a period of rapid recruitment and new arrivals.

Matthew Fretten, Managing Partner at the firm, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Sarah to the firm!

It’s clear that Sarah has a passion for family law which, accompanied with her wealth of experience in the field, makes her a great asset to the team.

Sarah has settled in well in her first couple of weeks at the firm and is clearly a perfect fit at Frettens.”

Growth in the family team

Sarah is the second member of the family team to join the firm in recent weeks, as Katelyn Webster joined as a legal secretary in July.

She will be based in the firm’s Ringwood office alongside Simon Immins, the partner who heads up the team there.

“Sarah is definitely a welcome arrival to the team and brings with her a wealth of experience in some complex areas of law.

Sarah will not only be an extra set of hands, but also a fantastic personality to have around the Ringwood office!”

Sarah’s thoughts on starting at Frettens

"I am really pleased to be joining Frettens during an exciting time of growth and expansion. Frettens is a dynamic firm with a vision for the future, and I was attracted to them because of this as well as their support of and investment in their people.

I am really excited to be working with Simon and continuing the growth of the family department."
