Frettens are gearing up to lead local business leaders to tackle the National Three Peaks Challenge, to raise money and awareness for MYTIME Young Carers.
The challenge will see the group climb the highest mountains in England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis), and Wales (Snowdon) in 24 hours on the 21st of June.
The team, led by Karen Edwards, is set to endure 23 miles of hiking, ascending over 3,000 metres along the way. Karen has brought together a committed team including James Hammersley, Zoe Watson, Lewis Barr who are teaming up with, Azets, Even keel Solutions, Total Guide to, MYTIME and Evolve to face this demanding challenge to raise funds for MYTIME Young Carers.
“Every year, as part of our charity partnership with MYTIME, we try to do one big fundraising challenge.
We thought this would be a great opportunity to collaborate with some of the many other local businesses that support MYTIME.
It’s such a brilliant group and if the training walks are anything to go by, it’s going to be fast-paced and lots of fun.
I’m confident we can summit all three peaks in 24 hours and, more importantly, raise a lot of money and awareness for a fantastic cause.” Said Karen Edwards.
